My Purpose
Hi, I’m Sarah! Wife, extra lucky mama to Sophia & Adam and lover of all things faith, spirituality and healing. I can talk for hours about the power of gratitude, mindfulness and positive perspective. I believe we are all God’s warriors with the power to heal and live fulfilled lives. I wholeheartedly know that my purpose on earth is to guide women to the truth, that they are WHOLE just the way they are. Through mindfulness, yoga and meditation we can achieve a life of stillness and inner peace.
“You do not need to seek freedom in some distant land, for it exists within your own body, heart, mind and soul.”- B.K.S. Iyengar
MY JOURNEY
I was first introduced to yoga and meditation by my late brother in 2009, but it wasn’t until my first in studio yoga class in 2013, that I knew this practice was a lot more than a “workout”. Although I hadn’t studied the philosophy of yoga, I watched the practice transform me and help heal years of trauma.
While in Shavasana that day I heard a whisper say, “Sarah you are home.” That was the beginning of my deep self study journey. Since, I have brought yoga into all aspects of my life.
When I started my 200HR Yoga Teacher Training, I realized I had been born in yoga! Self awareness and self study came natural to me, for as far back as I can remember. I have always been THAT person, that people came to knowing they can confide in, as I held space for them.
When my son Adam was born in 2022 with Down Syndrome, I was broken in a way that I had never been broken before. After a decade of struggling with infertility and going through multiple failed IVF cycles, I was simply tired. I had to anchor myself in my faith and surrender to God in a way I had never experienced before. The most crucial part was my ability to watch my every thought as I healed. While holding my baby in the NICU day in and day out for 6 weeks, I asked God everyday to show me how to serve him through serving humanity.
My background in Education allows me to have a deep understanding of the different styles of learning and meet each client where they are on their journey.
God has led me here and I am so ready to serve as many women as I can. You are a warrior and you will RISE!
